The Daiquiri
The Daiquiri originated in Cuba in the late 19th century, born from sailors’ and miners’ need for a simple, refreshing drink. It gained prominence in the early 20th century and was championed by figures like Ernest Hemingway, becoming a symbol of classic tropical cocktail culture. Its enduring appeal comes from its elegant simplicity and its ability to showcase high-quality rum.
This classic cocktail — rum, lime, and sugar — delivers balance in its purest form. Denizen’s aged-white rum adds delicate vanilla, toasted wood, and tropical fruit notes, lifting the Daiquiri beyond a basic white-rum base. The result is bright citrus upfront, silky sweetness, and a clean, slightly rounded finish that celebrates the spirit while offering lively, refreshing flavor.
