Mosto Verde Italia is the magnum opus of artisanal pisco. This product differs from other BarSol expressions in that “mosto verde,” or green must, means that the grapes are partially fermented before distillation. As a result, the wine that is distilled has an initial lower alcohol content of about 3-5%, with high residual sugars, aromas and flavors of the fresh Italia grapes.

Aroma: Very complex, delicate aromas of fresh grape, green apples, bittersweet citrus (orange, lemons, limes), honey notes and rose petals.
Palate: Rich elegant combination of tropical fruit with marked notes of melon and pear, citrus fruit, and golden raisins.
Finish: Exquisitely soft and seductive on the palate, harmoniously integrated, delicate and refined texture with a long lingering finish.
