The Paper Plane is a whiskey-based cocktail, similar to the Last Word in that has a consistent ingredient ratio (1:1:1:1) and the same trademark bitter, herbal flavor.  Inspired in 2008 by M.I.A's song Paper Planes the bartender's at Milk and Honey, created a new modern classic.

Ingredients:

3/4 oz. Luxardo Aperitivo
3/4 oz. Luxardo Amaro
3/4 oz. Hirsch Straight Bourbon the Horizon
3/4 oz. lemon juice
Lemon twist for garnish

Directions

Add Luxardo Aperitivo, Luxardo Amaro, The Horizon bourbon whiskey, and freshly squeezed lemon juice into a shaker with ice. Shake until chilled.

Strain mixture into a chilled coupe glass. Garnish the finished cocktail with a lemon twist and serve.
